Hi, my name is Fiona, and I'm a beautiful, 2 year old, female Dutch Shepherd mix who was surrendered by my former family because I kept jumping their 4' fence. They had me since I was a puppy, and this was a very difficult decision for them because they loved me, but they just couldn't keep me from hopping the fence and chasing squirrels, rabbits, the neighbors' cats, birds, etc. They said I am a wonderful girl who was exceptionally well behaved with their toddler. I'm house trained, crate trained, I get along with other dogs and I'm a bit shy when I meet new people, but if you take things slowly with me, I warm up quickly. Some of my pictures make me look really serious, but I'm actually a very sweet, happy girl who would love to find a forever home with someone who has a secure yard. My adoption fee is $350 and if you are interested, please submit an online application at adoptagsd.org. Update: I have been moved to foster care where I live with 3 other dogs and it's taken me several weeks to learn how to live as part of a pack. I was initially highly protective of food and toys, but I've gotten much better lately. I'm house trained, crate trained, I don't chew non-doggy items and I'm not a counter surfer. I love to play with my foster GSD brother and I'm super fast when I zip around the yard. I also love to play tug with a rope toy. I would make an outstanding running partner for a jogger who's looking for a canine adventure seeker! My recall is excellent!
