Hi, my name is Ranger and I was surrendered to FRGSR because my former owner said I was reactive to both people and other dogs. I'm a happy boy who enjoys getting out to sniff the fresh air and my surroundings. I am choosy about who I will warm up to, but I've behaved myself very well around the FRGSR volunteers. I am going to need an experienced GSD handler who will serve as my leader and redirect me when I get overstimulated. Update: I've had tons of fun playing with another rescue dog who is really well balanced, so I could live with another dog who balances the scale between dominant and submissive while being supervised. I will need an adopter who lives a quiet life and who doesn't have a lot of people coming and going. Also, I will need someone to give me the TIME I need to bond with them BEFORE they expose me to others. I love to play fetch! Once you earn my trust, I'm a happy, affectionate boy who will be your loyal companion!
