When adopted, they will need time to adjust to the changes in their life.

Hi, my name is Anika, and I'm a beautiful four year old GSD whose owner passed away and I was being cared for by another family member, but his female dog and I didn't get along, so he asked FRGSR if they could find me a new home. He said I love to go for hikes or for walks, I love toys and I'm very affectionate.  I haven't lived with a cat, so no information is available there. The volunteers with FRGSR have had me around other dogs and I'm doing really well.  I am able to clear a 6' fence, so I'll need close supervision in homes with a fenced yard. My adoption fee is $350. Update: I've been living in a foster home for several months, and my foster dad says I've never tried to jump his fence, but he also provides me with lots of attention and exercise. He recently had to travel and left me with a friend who had small children and they said I was wonderful with the kids! I'm a great dog who has lots to offer and I'm hoping my forever family will find me soon!
