Hi, my name is Sugar and I'm a pretty, 2 yr old GSD who was transferred to FRGSR from an awful setting where I lived in filth with several other dogs. One day, one of the dogs broke through a window and he was followed by several other dogs. This event was a turning point leading all of us to being rescued. Dogs who come from settings like the one where I originated have not been well socialized with people, but our trust can be earned if people are patient and approach us in a non-threatening manner. I will need a patient, confident adopter who won't baby or pity me because of my past and will give me the time I need to learn to trust him/her. I will need to learn basic obedience and house/leash manners. I'm excited to see what the world has to offer! My adoption fee is $350.
