Billy is a dog with lots of energy. He's very playful and happy  about 3 yrs old.  He can  sometimes play rough with other dogs, but he has lived peacefully with both large and small (23 lb) dogs   .  He is a very loving and sweet boy with his foster family.  Billy lives in a home with cats and has had no issues. Billy is very protective of his pack and his turf, so he needs to go to a home without a lot of visitors. Billy needs to be leashed at all times when people are around.  He would love a home with an active  handler who has EXPERIENCE with this kind of dog .  No children. He absolutely LOVES to chase squirrels up the tree. He also loves to play fetch with a frisbee so this is a great form of exercise for him. He could also make an excellent protective jogging partner. Billy is an exceptionally smart boy who reads both people and other dogs well. An ideal setting may be an owner looking for a companion who will alert them when strangers are approaching.
